Urban War

organised by Dean Bedlington, Olympian Games

Ultramorph

Urban War is a fast paced sci-fi skirmish game set in a brutal far-distant universe. Players build small teams of solders to fight in a war torn city planet of Iskandria, the scene of countless vicious conflicts between competing factions, now also threatened by aggressive alien incursions. The individual model and experience based system enables a unique variety of tactical choices, as you develop your team to suit your own personal play-style and strategies. Best of all, a 300 point army comprises about a dozen figures on average and won't cost an arm and a leg.

Armies will be limited to no more than 300 points, with forces chosen in accordance with the official published force listing. The latest published edition of the rules will be used. The same army list is to be used for all games. Points awarded for sportsmanship and bringing painted miniatures will also be awarded. Participants will receive a free Urban War figure, and prizes will be awarded for best sportsmanship, best presented army, etc.

You will be required to bring your own army (there may be a couple available for loan), a ten-sided die, templates, tape measure and 2 copies of your army list.

Army lists need to be submitted to the organiser a week in advance for checking. It is intended that there be 4 games per day (approx 1 1/2 hours each, over two days (Saturday and Sunday). 9 AM competition start.
