Pathfinder

Pathfinder Society organised play

Pathfinder

All Pathfinder Society adventures are for groups of 4 to 6 players (7 players at a pinch).

The one exception to this is We Be Goblins, which is for 4 players and characters are provided.

While everyone is welcome to play Pathfinder Society adventures, our program this weekend has been put together with new, or almost new, players in mind.

Pathfinder Society Saturday program

You need a brand new Pathfinder Society character to play these three linked adventures. Rules on how to create your character can be found at http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety and we will also have some pregenerated characters for you to choose from if you just want to try this out.

Intro 1 In Service to Lore

by Adam Daigle

In your first mission as a Pathfinder agent, the head of the Grand Lodge sends you on a number of missions throughout the metropolis of Absalom, pitting you against traps, thieves, and even an unruly devil, all in the pursuit of knowledge.  First level characters only.

Intro 2 To Delve the Dungeon Deep

by Stephen Radney MacFarland

You venture for the first time into the massive haunted dungeons beneath an abandoned siege tower in the deadly Cairnlands, where you will experience firsthand the true dangers of being a tomb-delving Pathfinder!

Intro 3 A Vision of Betrayal

by Larry Wilhelm

Dispatched on an envoy mission overland from Absalom to port city Escadar, you must weather the harsh wilderness of the Isle of Kortos before you can hope to meet with the representative of the elusive gillmen, and only then come face to face with the greatest threat to the Pathfinder Society.  1st level characters only.  You should have played Intro 1 and Intro 2 before playing this adventure.

Pathfinder Society Sunday program

In addition to these scheduled adventures, we will have a selection of adventures for low to mid level characters (in case you’ve played all of these).  However, the scheduled adventures have been proven to be playable in a three hour session — other adventures may run into break times, or even into the next session. In order to prevent this chaos, GM’s will cut the adventure short at the end of the session.

We Be Goblins (You Be Food)

By Richard Pett

The Licktoad goblins of Brinestump Marsh have stumbled upon a great treasure — fireworks! Yet unfortunately for them, the tribe member responsible for the discovery has already been exiled for the abhorrent crime of writing (which every goblin knows steals words from your head). To remedy this situation, the Licktoads’ leader, His Mighty Girthness Chief Rendwattle Gutwad, has declared that the greatest heroes of the tribe must venture forth to retrieve the rest of the fireworks from a derelict ship stranded in the marsh. In order to prove themselves as the Licktoads’ bravest goblins, the PCs must complete a series of dangerous dares, from swallowing bull slugs and braving the dreaded Earbiter to dancing with Squealy Nord himself. Yet even once they’ve proven their mettle, the adventure is just beginning. For the ship in question is far from uninhabited, and Vorka the cannibal goblin would like nothing better than a few tasty visitors....

Note: This adventure is for four to six, or at a pinch, seven goblin characters. Characters are provided. You will get a Chronicle sheet which you may apply to any PFS 1st or 2nd level character.

Mist of Mwangi

By Nicolas Logue

Pathfinder Lugizar Trantos recently returned from the Mwangi Expanse with haunted eyes and a pack full of strange idols. Absalom's famed Blakros Museum purchased his pieces and Lugizar vanished. The strange monkey idols he pulled from the misty jungles of Mwangi carry with them a fell curse, and now their power has laid claim to the museum. Can the Pathfinder Society uncover the source of the curse in time, or will the Blackros Museum be forever lost to the mists of Mwangi? For character levels 1 to 5.

Frozen Fingers of Midnight

By Craig Shackleton

Skelg the Ripper, envoy from the Land of the Linnorm Kings, lies wasting in his villa on the outskirts of Absalom. A frigid curse followed Skelg from his northern homeland and grips his bearish heart in its frosty embrace. As the bizarre freezing ailment pushes Skelg to the brink of death, the Society dispatches you and your fellow Pathfinders to uncover the secrets of the freezing curse before Absalom falls to its icy grip. For character levels 1 to 5.

Silent Tide

By Michael Kortes

When strange reports of misty undead spread through Absalom, you and your fellow Pathfinders are dispatched to the half-drowned district of Puddles. Notoriously rough, the drooling addicts, flesh panderers, and quick-handed knifers of Puddles are the least of your worries. The night's tide brings with it an ancient armada of some long-forgotten war and you are the only thing between their mist-shrouded ghost fleet and Absalom's utter oblivion. For character levels 1 to 5.

Blood Under Absalom

A Battle Interactive for 12 players (or more)

By Tim Hitchcock

The Ruby Phoenix Tournament is nigh, and organizations and individuals throughout the Inner Sea are scrambling to secure a spot in the legendary Tian fighting competition, among them the Pathfinder Society. In an underground qualifier event overseen by an enigmatic old monk and his oni spokesman, the Pathfinders must overcome the opposition to ensure the Society can send representatives to distant Goka to compete in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament itself. Battles will rage and blood will flow under the streets of Absalom, and only the greatest combatants will emerge victorious!

For character levels 1 to 11.

NB:This battle interactive requires a minimum of 12 players to run. It runs for both Monday sessions and will continue through the lunch break. If you want lunch, we recommend you bring something with you.
