The Fishbowl

by Eric Henry

"Debuting tonight is The Fishbowl (Channel 13, 8:30 pm), the latest in a seemingly endless string of 'Big Brother' clones which take of a group of disparate strangers (although, if I had to make a guess, I'd say the majority of them are going to be young, telegenic extroverts) and lock them in a house where their activities are filmed 24/7, and contestants are gradually voted out. In this case, the prize on offer is $1 million for being the last one standing.

Despite the producers' promises that this will be unlike anything currently on television, I cannot see that The Fishbowl offers anything we haven't seen before, and I predict it will become yet another nail in the long overdue coffin of 'reality' TV."

The Fishbowl.

30 Contestants. One million dollars. One winner.
Could you stand the pressure of living in the Fishbowl?
Starts tonight on Channel 13 in a special two and a half hour episode.

A freeform for 30 contestants on a new reality TV show, all of them trying not to be eliminated on the first night.
