ROMULAN REFLECTION
Star Trek: The Mirror Universe Saga II
- Over 150 years ago, the Romulan people escaped destruction at
the hands of the tyrannical Terran Space Fleet. Hiding themselves
away from the rest of the galaxy, they rebuilt their society, in
the hopes of one day being able to re-emerge into a more peaceful
society. It took a century for them to develop the technology to
leave their new homes, and travel amongst the worlds of the United
Empire of Planets without being noticed.
-
- Now, at the end of what the Terrans refer to as the 23rd
Century, they are ready to return. Agents have been placed, and 5
years ago, a spy ship infiltrated the Empire's Starfleet É
as one of their own. Underground resistance movements are
springing up, both on various Empire planets, and in the Klingon
Protectorate Zone as well. Border skirmishes with the Breen, Gorn
and Tholians have increased. Things are getting tougher for the
Empire.
-
- Romulan Star Command have organised their best team of agents
to enter the Empire, and do whatever it takes to help Spock,
leader of the Underground movement, take control and end the reign
of the Terran Emperor. You are part of this team.
Romulan Reflection is a single session 6 player
game, based in the Star Trek Mirror Universe setting. This game is
set after the events in the Classic Star Trek episode "Mirror
Mirror", and well before the events portrayed in the Deep Space Nine
Mirror Universe episodes. This game is a sequel to Mirrored
Vengeance, but players need not have played that game to play in
this. For further information, contact Richard Dennis at ncc1701@ihug.com.au
The Men from K.O.S.H.
- A systemless game set in a slightly altered Babylon 5
Universe.
By David James.
Just what is Kosh up to?
Premise
The timeline for this game splits ever so slightly from that from
the series when Kosh, the original one that is, survives the Shadow
assasination attempt, however is gravely wounded and retreats from
Babylon 5 to recuperate.
The end of the war comes, with all the rest of the events
happening as they did in the series, however at the end of the war
who should return to Babylon 5? The original Kosh! Healed and back to
his old enigmatic self, and stubbornly not telling anyone, (not even
me - Ref), why he's here or why he didn't go on with the rest of his
race at the end of the war.
What is known however is that Kosh has pulled together a rag-tag
bunch bunch of misfits, umm, sorry I mean the "heroes", to do all the
little jobs that he needs to have done. After all it's not easy to
get around in that enounter suit, and he likes to avoid all the
awkward questions that people seem to bombard him with whenever he
goes out in public.
That's all there is to it.
No, really, it is.
What, you still don't believe me? Well, you'll just have to show
up and see for yourself, won't you?
A systemless game for a down-and-out drunken
Centauri Pilot, a skinny human telepath on the run from the Corp, a
technomage trying to come to terms with people, a Minbari
Warrior-caste Ranger attempting to balance her life and a Narn who
just seems lost.

Other Side of the Rainbow
by Mike Walker
-
Why are there so many songs about
rainbows
-
And what's on the other side?
-
Rainbows are visions, but only
illusions,
-
And rainbows have nothing to
hide.
-
So we've been told and some choose to
believe it
-
I know they're wrong, wait and
see.
-
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow
connection,
-
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Kermit the Frog, The Rainbow Connection, The Muppet
Movie
When a young princess falls from a prismatic
rainbow in the sky, the peaceful muppet kingdom of Embria is thrown
into confusion. She claims to be Alanna, crown princess of the
mythical realm of Amber, and in hiding from her wicked Aunt Fiona.
Alanna brings knowledge of a reality beyond Embria, and her arrival
poses a number of questions. Is the wise King Kermit actually a
puppet king, controlled by dark and secretive forces? Are unseen
hands manipulating the destiny of every muppet in Embria? Is it
possible that they are all only a figment of someone else's twisted
imagination? And if so, does freedom lie on the other side of the
rainbow?
A humorous look at the nature and perception of
reality...

In the streets of Canberra, something lurks in

The citizens of the city scuttle to safety,
all too aware that tonight something stalks them.

Something evil, something
sinister, something...

That is very
hungry.
